The analytical model of Matricultura works with a visual language. Schemes, that illustrate the systems to be analysed in their complexity and at the same time show them clearly displayed. On the basis of these schemes insufficiently developed potentials, powerfully integrated and also overloaded areas of life can be examined. Autarca is a Life-Biotope based on the core values of Matricultura. Autarca is located in the north-west of La Palma, one of the Canary Islands, on the land of an old farm with approx. 25'000 m², nestled in a small village, at the boarder of a nature protection area. Autarca was founded on the first of June 2007 and is led by Barbara Elisabeth Graf and Erich Alfried Graf.
